Africa and Mural Project Preview

1.  I really liked this power point because the pictures are in black and white so it helps show more drama.

2.
3.  This is my favorite picture because even though the beckound isn't one color, you can still tell that the cheetahs are the subject and that this is a simplicity picture.

4.  He photographs on medium-format black and white film without telephoto or zoom lenses. He uses a Pentax 67II with only two fixed lenses.  "What I am interested in is showing the animals simply in the state of Being."  This is what Brandt said about why he was taking these pictures.  "There is something deeply deeply, emotionally stirring and affecting about the plains of Africa - the vast green rolling plains punctuated by by the graphically perfect acacia trees."- Nick Brandt

1.  I think that a good theme we could do here at school is shoes, because it is something most people at school take seriously and it's something they take pride in when they have a really nice pair.

2.  I think that we should use both regular cameras, and phone cameras because not everyone has a camera phone and they should be able to take pictures to.

3.  I would want to put my mural in the portables because most people wouldn't think to put it all the way out there.
