Unusual and Interesting Photos

1. What is your reaction to his work?

I really like how the pictures are black and white so it makes it more dramatic.

2.  How do you think he made these photos?

I have no idea, othere than maybe rotating it in the dark room where pictures develope.

3.  Think about some buildings you have seen, which ones would be good to take a photo like this? Tell me about those buildings, where are they, could you get easy access to them?

I think the eiffel tower would be a good photo to take like this because of the shape of it and it would be easy to take because it is open to the public.

I like this photo because it is in black and white and I just love the way it looks, and because I like how the photographer made the background blurry.  It was in the portrait series category and won first place.  I think when the judges were judging this they were thinking about everything in the picture and the contrast.

I like the one on the bottom because it is such a clear picture and it makes me feel like it is a whole different world.  This was in the environmental category and got honorable mention, I think the judges were thinking about the color and lighting the most when they were judging this photo.

Three things I think a photagrapher should keep in mind when taking photos are 1, keep in mind that expressions are more powerful than words and if you can capture what people are thinking ar what they are saying that is a very useful skill, 2, make something ordinary completly different and turn it around to seem interesting, and 3, look at different angles to take the picture, it will make for a more original and interesting photo.
