Marley Santizo runs to second period after the warning bell with a fear of being late. Santizo has never been late and doesn't plan on it today.

10th grader Marley Santizo knows about the long lines at lunch and since today is Asian she sprints to the cafeteria. Santizo agreed that the lunch isn't the best but it's better than the other choices.

Brianna Salazar, a junior here at Akins, stands with her hands in her pockets explaining shyly what it's like to almost be a senior. The excitement on her face shows that she is ready to her last year in high school.
